DeRhodes Construction grew out of what began as a Handyman Service. The emphasis  for customer service started with this business. The opportunity for larger projects required a new business structure and licenses which were established in 2004.

 

The focus on remodeling created a client based business that offers a specialty service for residential homeowners. Our customer service and attention to detail continues to result in satisfied customers. Consequently, our customers continue to be our best asset.

Eddie DeRhodes has an Architecture degree from UNC Charlotte. This offers several unique qualities for a Design Build Contractor. These include but are not limited to : Problem Solving, Schematic Design, Design Build, Construction and Engineering Principals,  and Finishes & Details.

 

In addition we offer schematic design plans and sketches, as well as complete design services for interior remodels and additions. Larger jobs may include  specialty designers and architects to become part of a competent team for your project.  Our education and experiences creates a unique ability to cohesively work as a team with the homeowner and designers.

Handyman Services are the roots of our company. We began with simple repairs and smaller projects for our customers. We continue these services today to offer our former customers, as well as new customers, a much needed resource. Our Handyman business established the founding principals of what would become DeRhodes Construction.

 

Those principals were handed down as suggestions by my father…..”Do what you say you’re going to do, and be fair about it, and everything else will work itself out”. I have been amazed at how this simple idea has generated a successful company through our customers’ “word of mouth advertising”.
